Lewis Williams
Services for Lewis Turner Williams, 82, of Stuart are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Non Free Will Baptist Church, Pastor Tommy Chaffin will officiate. Burial will follow at Non Cemetery.
Mr. Williams passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his home. He was born September 19, 1937 at Fittstown to Wesley and Mattie Turner Williams. He attended Fittstown grade school and graduated from Byng High School in 1955. He also attended East Central University.
He married Pauletta Petty December 6, 1997 in Ada. Mr. Williams was a heavy equipment operator for Schwarz Paving Company in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Non Free Will Baptist Church and a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Pauletta, of the home; his children, Paula Brown and husband Wesley, Pam Sigman and husband Stacy, Duward "Cap" Williams and wife Joy, Opal "Pudd" Harrell, Rick Hood and wife Loretta, Gregory Hood and wife Candy and Terra "Dee Dee" Hood; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; his nieces, Kathy Hightower and Lavonda Peckio; and numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charles Williams and Duward Williams and his wife Catherine.
Bearers will be Jaedyn Winters, Josh Green, Michael Wayne, Michael Brent, Dustin Hood and Blade Hood. Honorary bearers will be Dale Korn, Otis Bruce, Randall Fields, Stacy Sigman, Wesley Brown and J. W. Brown.
