Lewis Sims

Funeral services for Lewis Sims, 82, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dan Megehee will officiate.

Mr. Sims passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 26, 1942 in Ada to George W. and Dena Coots Sims.

He married Doris Harlin May 5, 1963. Mr. Sims was a trucker until his retirement and had served in the U. S. Navy from 1963 – 1967. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, of the home; two sons, Lewis Darrell Sims of Ada and Steven Sims of Konawa; daughter, Tina McConnell of Stuart; two sisters, Peggy Harber of Ada and Mildred Kepler of Missouri; his grandchildren, Kimberly Gregrich, Jacee Guerin, Aaron Sims, Samantha Sims and Taylor Sims; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
