LEWIS ARCHER

TULSA-Services for Lewis Bryant Archer, 74, Tulsa, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday a the Union Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Wade Peddy will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Full Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Archer died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at a Tulsa hospital. He was born September 4, 1933 at Ada, Oklahoma to Leonard Bryant and Myrtle Sunshine Norton Archer. He attended East Central University for two years.

He married Ima Jean Jones on August 6, 1954 at Carson City, Nevada. Mr. Archer was an aircraft mechanic and an auto mechanic at Service Auto Mall. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a 32nd degree Mason. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 21 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ima Jean Archer, of the home; one daughter, Delia Massaro and her husband Dr. Mark Massaro, Tulsa; a son, Dr. Brynn Archer and wife Rita, Tulsa; five grandchildren, Alexis, Jeremy, Madison, Aubrey, and Claire; three sisters, Nadine McCoy, Ft. Worth, TX, Lillian Gamill, Ft. Worth, TX, and Letha Jean Pissano, Ft. Worth, TX; and three brothers, Lindell Archer, Ada, Larry Archer, Ada, and Lawrence Archer, Ada.

Bearers will be Dale Archer, Tony Pissano, Ronnie Gamill, Steve McCoy, Wayne Gordon, and Kevin Archer. Honorary bearers will be David Dees, Jimmy Dew, Wendell Pettigrew, and Horace Golden.
