LETA MAE SMITH
ADA-Services for Leta Mae Smith, 85, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, her son, Donald Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Ms. Smith died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her home. She was born January 30, 1927 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Clifford W. and Annie Barker Shores. She attended New Lima schools.
Ms. Smith was a toll technician and coin collector for Southwestern Bell Telephone until her retirement. She was a member of the Wewoka United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas R. Smith and his wife Kay of Stillwater, Donald W. Smith and his wife Sue of Ada, and David Lee Smith of Florida; a daughter, Sherri Smith Stuber of Guthrie; three sisters, Patricia Burns of Jasper, TX, Betty Sharp and Katie D. Shores, both of Eufaula; three brothers, C. W. Shores, Jr. of Indiana, Frankie Shores of Stigler, and Jerry Shores of Eufaula; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Mary Swope and Daisy Harper.
