LESLIE ROBERTS
SULPHUR-Services for Leslie Roberts, 64, Sulphur are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate.
Mr. Roberts died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at a Sulphur VA center. He was born November 10, 1944 near Centrahoma, Oklahoma to Nelson and Silence Carnes Roberts. He attended Coalgate schools.
He married Maria Bryan at Del City, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2008 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Roberts was a retired painter, of the Methodist faith and had served in the U. S. Army. He moved to Sulphur in January 2009 from Del City.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Ann Goodwin, Del City; four sisters, Louise Gore, Ada, Ollie Hook, Broken Arrow, Lizzie Hughes, Tchula, Mississippi, and Wilma Jenkins, Falls Church, Virginia; three grandchildren, Tamara Jackson, Taylor Goodwin, and Jeremy Goodwin, Jr.; and one great granddaughter, Nevaeh Hancock.
