LEROY HUNTER
ADA-Services for Leroy Anthony "Lebo" Hunter, 50, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Bobby Graham and Jason McEntire will officiate. Burial will follow at Cairo Cemetery, northeast of Cottonwood.
Mr. Hunter died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at an Ardmore hospital. He was born June 18, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Floyd Perry Hunter, Sr. and Wanda Sue Graham Hunter. He graduated from Ada High School in 1981.
He married April Marie Cannady on November 2, 2006 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Hunter was employed with Power Life. He enjoyed camping, fishing, noodling and hunting.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Wanda Bradley and her husband James of Ada; his wife, April Hunter, of Ada; a son, Robert Hunter and wife Tiffany of Ada; granddaughter, Lynsey Hunter, Ada; grandson, Robert Anthony Hunter, Ada; step-sons, Dalton Troy Charles Johnson of Ada, and Dawson Harris of Ada; two step-daughters, Cassara Harris and children Kaden Samson, Kyler Samson and Madilyn Hulsey of Ada and Savannah Harris of Ada; a brother, Floyd Perry Hunter, Jr. of Stonewall; sister, Melody DeLozier and husband Dennis of Ada; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Bearers will be Mark Trotter, Tyler Shelton, David Correll, Josh Copeland, Bruce Williams, Leo Watson, Charles Williams, Glen Hallmark, Ernie Hallmark, Darrell Carter, Kelly Ross, Marty Ross and Kevin Ross. Honorary bearers will be Robert Hunter and Dennis DeLozier.
