Leota Allen

Services for Leota Alexander Allen, 75, of Ada are 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, David Little and Bill Alexander will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery. A Wake Service will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. She was born October 21, 1944 in the Kullihoma Community, east of Ada to Watt and Minnie Carpenter Alexander. She graduated from high school and attended East Central University.

She married Elwood Allen. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Allen was a certified nurse's aide at Life Care Nursing Home in Plano, TX until her retirement.

Survivors include three sons, Harvey Alexander, Ada, Mike Alexander and wife Pam, TX and Herschel Allen and wife Georgia, Ada; two daughters, Margaret Dupree and husband Robert E. Dupree and Retha Allen, both of Ada; two sisters, Lou Yargee and Linda Berry; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren, Jeremy Allen and Clinton Dupree.
