Dr. Leo Sollazzo

Services for Dr. Leopold Joseph Sollazzo, 76, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Father Billy Lewis will officiate. Entombment will be at Swan Hill Mausoleum. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Dr. Sollazzo passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home. He was born March 7, 1940 in New Brunswick, NJ to Salvatore and Catherine Zelino Sollazzo. He attended school in New Brunswick, NJ and graduated from Rutgers University. He received his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of Maryland.

He married Antoinette Naneng December 14, 1968. He and his family moved to Ada in 1978 from Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Sollazzo was a Dentist for the U. S. Public Health Service until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette, of the home; a son, Walter Sam Sollazzo and wife Brittany of Allen; a daughter, Sharon Lee Sollazzo of Ada; his grandchildren, Austin Sollazzo, Ashtyn Sollazzo, Regan Sollazzo, Bryson Sollazzo, Morgan Sollazzo and Damon Sollazzo; a nephew, Michael Sollazzo and wife Carol of Delaware; and a niece, Katherine Jenson and husband Greg of San Francisco, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dr. Anthony Sollazzo.
