Obituary

Services for Leonard William Storts, 85, of Ada is at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Storts passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Sulphur VA Center. He was born September 30, 1932 in Fittstown to Russell Leonard and Catherine Tackett Storts.

He married Jean McDonald Braden April 22, 1994. Mr. Storts served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, on the Laws 558 Battleship. He was honorably discharged after 20 years of service. He later was employed with the Ada City Water Department. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Jean, of the home; two daughters, Penny Lambert and husband Richard of San Diego, CA and Dianne Hargis of Oklahoma City; two sons, Doug Storts and wife Carri of Ada and Bruce Storts of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Phyllis Gray and husband Mike, Gloria Donaghey and Jayna Anderson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Leisey.

Bearers will be Andrew Timmons, Leonard Timmons, Matt Worcester, Nathan Storts, Keeton Storts and Trent Storts.
