LELA BROWN
OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Lela Brown, 83, Oklahoma City are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Timothy Petty will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Monday, July 26, 2010 at an Oklahoma City nursing home. She was born March 30, 1927 at Allen, Oklahoma to Arthur and Salina Harjo Johnson. She attended Allen school.
She married Joseph Brown, Jr. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1997. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Dale Johnson, Oklahoma City, and Jay Dean Johnson, Ada; one daughter, Hazel Sue Lawler, Choctaw; one sister, Corene Atkinson, Oklahoma City; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, John Wayne Johnson.
Bearers will be Roger Johnson Jr., Lonnie Lawler, Wayne Johnson, David Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Emery Johnson.
