Obituary

Services for Leerene "Lee" Frazier, 84, Wanette, are 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Ada, Rev. Randy Wade will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Frazier passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his granddaughter's residence in Sulphur. He was born October 16, 1936 in Ada, OK to Colson and Carrie Alexander Frazier.

He married Eula Mae Jackson July 6, 1988. She preceded him in death January 28, 2011. Mr. Frazier worked for the Cemetery Preservation Department for the Chickasaw Nation.

Survivors include two grandsons, Michael Carpenter and wife Jonna and Jason Carpenter, all of Ada; two granddaughters, Kelly Sanchez Hernandez and husband Nelson, Sulphur and Crystal Carpenter, Sulphur; 16 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Johnny Carnes and Dennis Frazier; a daughter, Lisa Frazier (Janet); his siblings, Eddie Mae Nelson, Myrtle Brown (Nelson), Grady Nelson, Frank Nelson and William Nelson; and great grandson, Nicholas Carpenter.

Bearers will be Steve Godwin, Elijah Edney, Donnie Earp, Johnathan Futisha, Brian Futisha and Janetta Robison. Honorary bearers will be Gov. Bill Anoatubby, Lt. Gov. Chris Anoatubby, Josh Hinson, the Chickasaw Nation Dance Troup, and the Chickasaw Nation Cemetery Preservation Department.
