LEA THOMPSON
ADA-Services for Leatrice P. "Lea" Thompson, 87, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at the Tishomingo Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born March 30, 1922 at Coalgate, Oklahoma to John and LaVera Henderson Pardue. She graduated from Bromide High School.
She married Herman Eugene Thompson on October 26, 1941 at Atoka, Oklahoma.They moved to Ada in 1952 from Madill. Mr. Thompson preceded her in death on December 18, 2000. Mrs. Thompson was employed at The Smart Shop for twenty-two years and attended the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Koontz and her husband Terry, Ada; a grandson, Brad Beller, Ada; a granddaughter, Leacia Wright, Ada; three great grandchildren, Chase Hatton, Hailey Hatton and Rowdy Wright; and one great great grandchild, Cash Gifford.
Bearers will be Danny Stafford, Don Woods, Buddy Henley, Jeff Ulrich, Terry Koontz and Brad Beller.
