Services for Lawana Eileen Sullivan, 72, of Ada will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Pastor Darrell Sullivan and Rev. Jerry Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at Dolberg Cemetery, near Roff.
Mrs. Sullivan died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her home. She was born April 5, 1947 in Roff to Kenneth Beauford and Virginia Eileen Hawkins Williams.
She married Earl Sullivan June 18, 1965. Mrs. Sullivan started college in 1972 to obtain her RN degree, while raising her two boys. Her first job was at Valley View Regional Hospital in intensive care, moving to surgery, then later to SORC in Paul's Valley. After working there, for 22 years, she became Assistant Director of nursing for DDSD. Upon retirement, she and Earl, enjoyed family time with their grandkids and loved to travel. Lawana and Earl were very active in the First Baptist Church of Ada working in the hospitality serving families in many capacities. They were also a part of the Skype Class that talked people all over the world about the love of Christ. She always had a hug for everyone, and if asked she had a "Beautiful" Christmas sweater.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Sullivan, of the home; two sons, Darrell Sullivan and wife Terri of Wellston and Kinney Sullivan and wife Gena of Lexington; five grandchildren, Rebekah Condulle and husband Tim, Eli Sullivan, Bethany Sullivan, Kenneth Sullivan and John Sullivan; two great-grandchildren, Khloe Sullivan and Haiden Condulle; a brother, Roy Williams and wife Marilyn of Claremore; a sister, Reta Kaye Prince and husband Vic of Mansfield, TX; a sister-in-law, Georgia Taylor and husband Rick of Glenrock, WY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bearers will be, Bobby West, Keith Teel, Tim Condulle, Tynan Chesser, James Wyrick and Lane Thompson. Honorary bearers will be Kenneth Sullivan, Rebekah Condulle, Bethany Sullivan, Eli Sullivan and John Sullivan.
