Lavon Rogers

Lavon Terri Monee Rogers, age 64, passed away on August 6, 2026, at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Born in San Francisco, California, on August 31, 1961, to Jerome Ballard and Eva Gray, Lavon spent her life in service to others through her work as a dedicated healthcare professional. She was raised with love in Ada, Oklahoma, by her maternal grandparents, Edgar Gray, Sr. and Naomi Triplett Gray, who preceded her in death.

A cherished mother, daughter, and grandmother, she is survived by her mother, Eva Gray; her children, Senior Master Sergeant Randy D. Rogers and wife Gianni, Lamont Lavale Rogers, and Chad Ladon Clack; her brother, LaDon Carrington; her sister, Angela Gordon Hernandez; and her five beloved grandchildren: Nehem, Jonah, Josiah, La’Maya Naomi, and La’Rhia Mae Rogers.

A memorial service honoring her life and legacy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
