Services for LaVerne Ann Keeling, 52, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Don Jacob and Lisa Billy will officiate. Burial will follow at Dolberg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keeling passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her home. She was born February 24, 1971 in Pasadena, Texas to Marion Charles and Peggy Neal Wasson. She received a bachelor's degree and worked for the Chickasaw Nation as a Procurement Coordinator.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Keeling; four sons, Jon Clay Hooton, Cole Keeling, Cord Keeling and Cade Keeling; nieces she helped raise, Jayla Wyatt and her partner, Adam Boyette, Macee Fanning and husband Nolan and their son, Kessler Paul Fanning; and other nieces and nephews; two brothers, Monty Wright and Martin Lynn Wright; two brothers-in-law, Philip Morris and wife Karen and Matt Grant and wife Kristin; four sisters, Janis Harris, LaWanna Donaghey, Stacy Wesberry and husband Chris, and her twin sister, LaVonne Wyatt and her partner, Mark Kopsky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peggy and Joe Riddle and Marion "Chuck" and Betty Wasson; her grandparents, Quince and Ethel Wasson, Willie R. and Eva Stick Neal; her siblings, Francis Will "Jock" Cobley and Sandra "Sandi" Bess Garrett; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gerald and Jean Baxter; and father-in-law, Kenneth Keeling.
Bearers will be Clay Hooton, Cole Keeling, Cord Keeling, Cade Keeling, Adam Boyette and Nolan Fanning.
