LAVERNE GARDNER
BROKEN ARROW-Services for Laverne Gardner, 83, Broken Arrow, formerly of Allen are 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Rev. Scott Morie will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.
Mrs. Gardner died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at her home. She was born May 28, 1927 in Spaulding, Oklahoma to M.F. and Bonnie Washburn Click. She moved to the Broken Arrow area in 1979 from Houston, Texas.
She married Royce A. Gardner on June 16, 1945. He preceded her in death in January, 1965 in Houston. Mrs. Gardner was employed with the Ellington Air Force Base until her retirement. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Ramby of Broken Arrow; Phyllis Pope and husband Julian of Broken Arrow, and Vicky Bray and husband Denton of Wetumka; a brother, Wilburn Click of Californa; four grandchildren, Jon David Ramby, Suni Ramby, Greg Pope and Jay Pope; and 9 great grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jon Ramby, Greg Pope, Jay Pope, Mike Ramby, David Ramby and Brandon Blackwell.
