ADA-Services for Lavanda Lee Cooper, 82, of Ada, formerly of the Lula area, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Lula Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died Friday, February 1, 2013 at an Oklahoma City nursing center. She was born November 3, 1930 in Lula, Oklahoma to Carl James and Cleo Polk Davis. She graduated from Stonewall High School.
She married Isaac Cooper on December 1, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2001. Together, they raised five loving children. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker. She had previously worked for Safeway Grocery and at Valley View Regional Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was a longtime member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include her five children, Sue Eubanks of Ada, Vonda Lane and her husband Billy, of Ada, Hugh Cooper and wife Robin, of Tulsa, Dee Cooper and wife Sheryl, of Prosper, TX, and Kay Hulin and husband Randy of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Beau Lane, Bobby Eubanks, Vandy Reynolds, Brock Cooper, Sean Cooper, Rhianna Cooper, Cody Cooper and Parker Hulin; three great grandchildren, Lily Eubanks, Addison Eubanks and Makena Lane; and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Beau Lane, Bobby Eubanks, Brock Cooper, Sean Cooper, Cody Cooper, and Lester Reynolds.
