ROFF, OKLAHOMA-Graveside services for Lauretta Ruth Stanton Bax, 93, Roff, Oklahoma, formerly of Nashville, Tennessee are pending at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville.
Mrs. Bax died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at her home. She was born December 7, 1915 in Niagara Falls, New York to Roy J. and Gertrude R. Robinson Stanton.
She married James J. Bax. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Bax was a homemaker and an active participant in the development of Central Office in Nashville, Tennessee and worked many years for the program. She was an active member of her church, Christ the King Catholic Church in Nashville.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Hudson and husband Michael, Roff, and Patricia Brown and husband Darrel, Marola, OR; one son, Brian Bax, Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Casie Smith and Alan Mayes, Hendersonville, TN, Joh Harring, Natasha Jones and Kimberly Davis of Oregon; and ten great grandchildren.
