LAURA JOLLIFF
BYNG-Services for Laura Ann Jolliff, 96, Byng, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Bauer will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng.
Mrs. Jolliff died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born May 4, 1912 at Prague, Oklahoma to James Marion and Nevada Tucker Martin. She attended school at Chickasha and received a G. E. D. at the age of 50.
She married Robert Austin Jolliff on September 21, 1935. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2006. Mrs. Jolliff was a sales clerk for J. C. Penney, a homemaker, and was a pastor's wife. She was a member of Byng Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Stogner, Prescott, Arizona; three sons, Levere A. Jolliff, Nashville, Tennessee, Gerald M. Jolliff, Byng, and Ronald G. Jolliff, Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, James Martin, Dallas, Texas, and Frank Martin, Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a son, Glendell Ray Jolliff in 1977; brothers and sisters, Spencer Martin, Irving Martin, Charlie Martin, Daisy McLeland, Nell Higgs, Elsie Jefferies, and Lydia Daniell.
Bearers will be her grandsons.
