LARRY RUTLEDGE

ADA-Services for Larry J. Rutledge, 60, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Keith Mills will officiate. Burial will follow at Jesse Cemetery.

Mr. Rutledge died Saturday, March 08, 2008 at a local hosptial. He was born January 15, 1948 at Benton, Illinois to Olaf and Kathrine Sanders Rutledge. He came to this area as a child from Illinois. He attended Stonewall schools.

He married Sallye Anne Bates on August 18, 1992. Mr. Rutledge served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army. He was employed in the oilfield, and later he worked in sales.

Survivors include his wife, Sallye Rutledge, of the home; a son, Robert Rutledge and his wife Tonya, Pauls Valley; three daughters, Crystal Bates, Norman, Jennifer Ellis and her husband Jamie, Tupelo, and Bobie Cranford and her husband Justin, Union Valley; three grandchildren, Josiah Rutledge, Bethany Rutledge and Kaylie Grace Cranford; four brothers, Hurshall Rutledge, Tyler, TX, Tommy Rutledge, Sommerville, GA, Gary Rutledge, Ada, and Justin Lehman, Ft. Worth, TX; and one sister, Marcella Cruz, Ada.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Fowler.

Bearers will be Marcus Cruz, Daniel Cruz, Jamie Ellis, Kenny Pearce, Justin Cranford and Billy Atkinson.
