LARRY REED
MOORE-Services for Larry Wayne Reed, 61, Moore, formerly of Ada, are 12:00 noon Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Reed died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born February 26, 1946 at Ada, Oklahoma to Merle A. and Willie Leona Ballard Reed. He graduated from Ada High School in 1964. After graduating from High school, he entered into the U. S. Air Force and served for two years. He later returned to Ada to attend East Central University where he received a Bachelor's degree in Education.
He married Iris Ann Reed on February 14, 1970. Mr. Reed taught Math at Jefferson Middle School in south Oklahoma City, retiring in the late 1990's.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Ann Reed, of the home; one daughter, Melissa Ann Davidson, of the home; two grandchildren, Cindy and Cameron; his parents, Merle and Willie Reed, Ada; a brother, Gary Reed and wife Kay, Ada; and a sister, Judi Buffington and husband Bill, Tulsa.
Bearers will be Kelly Reed, Bart Reed, Derek Criss, Mark Baxley, Brian Baxley, and Tommy Goodman.
