Larry Masoner
ADA-Memorial services for Larry Robert Masoner, 67, of Ada, were Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Criswell Funeral Home, Mark Masoner officiated.
Mr. Masoner died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014. He was born December 23, 1947 in Pasadena, California to James Robert and Helen Gail Reed Masoner. He graduated from Arroyo High School in Elmonte, CA and attended Lassen College in Susanville, CA. He moved to this area in 1977 from California.
Mr. Masoner was a firefighter for the U. S. Forest Service in California. He was an MP (Military Police for the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received an honorable discharge as a Sergeant in 1970.
Survivors include a son, Jason Masoner of Tecumseh; daughter, Joy Masoner Taylor of Chickasha; six grandchildren, Hanna, Jasey and Rylee Masoner, Connor and Peyton Fowler; and Ashlyn Taylor; and three brothers, Jim B. Masoner, Los Angeles, CA, Wayne Masoner, Ada, and David R. Masoner, Janesville, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Robert" and Helen Gail Masoner.
Honorary bearers will be Joel Masoner, Mark Masoner, Jason Masoner, Connor Fowler and Peyton Fowler.
