Larry Cox

Our loving Husband, Dad, and Papa Larry Cox left this world on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in Oklahoma City surrounded by his family.

He was born December 31, 1952 in Elk City, OK to Bobby Eugene and Laquita Joy Cox.  He graduated from Stonewall High School.  On September 4, 1976, he married Donna Louise Noyes in Haverhill, MA; married 48 beautiful years.

He loved his home and ranch in Stonewall and raised cows, harvested pecans, and baled hay all his life with pride.  Larry was Co-Owner of Dependable Heat and Air with Steve Krebbs and they ran it successfully for over 20 years.

Larry embodied the best qualities of love, kindness, wit, patience, hard work, and generosity.  His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.   He taught them well about life, shared his wisdom, and was always supportive of them.  Larry's loves were his sweet pea, riding his tractor, improving his farm, visiting those he loved, 50's 60's and 70's music, poker with friends, western movies, and ice-cold drinks.

He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.  The world won't be the same without him.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; daughter, Kristy Hiatt and husband, Jeff of Stonewall; son, Donald Cox and Laura Scholten of Haverhill, MA; brother, Dale Cox and wife, Pat of Ada; four grandchildren, Parker Hiatt, Ethan Hiatt, Gus Cox, and Rona Cox; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services for Larry Eugene Cox, 71, of Stonewall will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Union Valley Baptist Church; Rev. Randall Christy will officiate.  The family will receive friends and family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Krebbs, Brad Gibson, David Elkins, Greg Wellington, Steve Miller, Tony Winton, Tony Wellington, Ronnie Hall and Brayden O'Donnell.
