Kyla Cooper

Kyla Kyane Cooper, 59, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born on November 5, 1966, in Tokyo, Japan, to Paul Eugene Cooper and Lynda Lu (Lewis) Cooper.

Kyla dedicated her life to education, working as a teacher for Pickett Public Schools and Big Five Community Services for 35 years and earning her Masters degree. Her passion for learning and commitment to nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on her students and community.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Dakota Fraizer; her grandson, Dakota Kyle Fraizer; her brothers, Rick Litchfield and wife, Jimmy Anne Litchfield, and Guy Cooper; and her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Duane Baker; nieces, Angelique Rauch, Kayla Cooper, Melonie Cooper. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynda Lu Cooper.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist of Ada for 57 years. She worked with Relay for Life raising money for cancer for 10 years as well as Angel Tree for the Salvation Army for 10 years. For her faithful and devoted service, she received Community Action plagues for 15 and 20 years.
