KENT MORRISON
ADA-A Gathering for friends and family of Kent D. Morrison, 70, Ada, will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Jon and Margie Ross, 1701 Kerr Research Drive, Ada.
Mr. Morrison died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born May 14, 1941 in Ada, Oklahoma to Rex. O. and Faye Lollar Morrison. He attended Washington grade school and graduated from Ada High School in 1959. He attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and received a Bachelor of Science degree and Master's degree from East Central University.
Mr. Morrison was a teacher in Westminster, California, Albuquerque, New Mexico and coached in Las Vegas, Nevada retiring after over 30 years of service.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Morrison and his wife DeDee of Ada, and Tom Morrison and wife Debbie of Ada; his three grandchildren, Ashley Morrison, Jordan Morrison and Max Morrison; and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Joey Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Max Morrison.
