ADA-Services for Kenneth Wayne Maxwell, 77, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Gerty Cemetery.
Mr. Maxwell died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Ada, Oklahoma. He was born August 16, 1930 near Gerty, Oklahoma to Sidney and Hester Rail Maxwell. He attended Gerty schools.
He married Ladell Aldridge on July 28, 1948 in Santa Ana, California. Mr. Maxwell was a custom homebuilder in the Ada area for many years and was active in the real estate business for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Maxwell and wife Sandy, Ada; three daughters, Sharon Slone and husband Steve, Norman, JoAnn Maxwell, Ada, and Sandra Johnson and husband Grant, Oakdale, California; six grandchildren, Shenny Wilson, Ada, Holly Peters, Ada, Matthew Johnson, Oakdale, California, Eric Johnson, Abilene, Texas, Glenna Johnson, Oakdale, California, and Alex Maxwell, Ada; five great grandchildren, Taylor Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Chandler Peters, Kennedi Peters, and Taylor Johnson.
