Kenneth Warrior, Sr.
Services for Kenneth Louis Warrior, Sr., 63, of Konawa are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Konawa First Baptist Church, Brothers, Arthur Carpitcher and Brandon Leslie will officiate. Burial will follow at Thomas Town Cemetery near Sasakwa.
Mr. Warrior passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at his home. He was born December 12, 1955 at Oklahoma City to Herman and Bertha Thurman Warrior.
Mr. Warrior was a Supervisor for the Seminole Power Plant. until his retirement. He loved to fish, watch OU Football and he enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Horton Warrior, of the home; his children, Essie Burton, Wynne, AR, Kenneth Warrior, Jr. and wife Laura, Ada, and LaDana Warrior, Konawa; a sister, Jan Warrior, Sasakwa; two brothers, Russell Warrior and wife Teresa, Sasakwa and Kerry Warrior and wife Gail, Konawa; an uncle, James Thurman, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Jason Sam, Jordan Barnes, Aliyah Warrior, Isaiah Warrior, and Christopher Smiley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Francetta Stubblefield; and a brother, Herman Warrior, Jr.
Bearers will be Edward Heard, Chris Heard, Jake McCraw, D. J. Huckleberry, Joe Westmoreland, David Green, Cashton Thompson and Grant Mullicane. Honorary bearers will be Kirk Blue, Kent Dindy, Roger Warrior, Mike Perkins, George Roberts, Alvin Roberts, Gerald Barkus, Roy Hicks and Melford Roberts.
