NORMAN-Services for Kenneth Raymond Orr, 93, Norman, formerly of Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Orr died Friday, February 27, 2009, at Norman. He was born October 12, 1915, in Madison County, Iowa, to Morris John and Louella Paullin Orr. He attended school in Iowa and moved to the Ada area in February 1960. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Albert & Harlow.
He married Doris Mae Grasty August 1, 1936 in Winterset, Iowa. She preceded him in death June 29, 2002. They were married for over 65 years.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Forrest; an infant grandson, his parents; three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Orr and wife Lois, Norman, and Keith Orr and wife Carolyn, Avon Lake, Ohio; a daughter, Pat Teeter and husband Gary, Moore, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
