Kenneth Carpenter

Graveside services for Kenneth Wayne Carpenter, 68, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Butler Cemetery at Lane, OK. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Carpenter passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home. He was born December 23, 1948 at Santa Paula, CA to Virgil Lee and Ruby Bernice Amiott Carpenter. He graduated from West High School in Bakersfield, CA and moved to the Ada area from Caney, OK.

Mr. Carpenter was a bio-medical technician at Valley View Regional Hospital until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Carpenter and Ronnie Harper; a son, Scottie Carpenter; three sisters, Melody Cesmat and husband Mark, Rita White and husband Zane and Karen Wood and husband Dennis; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
