ROFF-Services for Darlene Wyche, 54, Roff, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Rev. Claude Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Dolberg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wyche died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her home. She was born February 9, 1954 at Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Velta Eldred Courtney. She attended Roff schools and graduated from Roff High School.

She married Mike Wyche on August 30, 1971. Mrs. Wyche worked for the United States Postal Service for 19 years and was the postmaster at Mill Creek for ten years. She was a member of the Roff First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Wyche, of the home; a son, Kevin Wyche and MariAlice Gayler, Roff; one daughter, Kristy Edgar and husband Preston, Sulphur; her mother and father, Velta and Kenneth Courtney, Roff; a sister, Verita Bell and husband Eldon, Red Oak, Oklahoma; six brothers, Walter Courtney and wife Gloria, Roff, Terry Courtney and wife Diane, Fitzhugh, Rusty Courtney and wife Val, Hickory, Jeff Courtney and wife Trisha, Mill Creek, Stacy Courtney and wife Sheri, Ada, and Tim Courtney and wife Sheli, Roff; three grandsons, Cole Wyche, Reese Edgar, and Jaxon Edgar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be Walter Courtney, Rusty Courtney, Jeff Courtney, Stacy Courtney, Tim Courtney, Terry Courtney, and Eldon Bell.
