KENDRICK GREEN, SR.
ADA-Services for Kendrick Lynn Green, Sr., 27, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, Clayton Nesbitt will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Green died Friday, September 30, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born October 6, 1983 in Marshall, Texas to Albert Lynn and Brenda Louise Nesbitt Green. He received his public education in the Marshall Independent School District, graduating from Marshall High School in 2002. He continued his education at Kilgore College from 2002 – 2004 in Kilgore, TX, and at East Central University in Ada from 2005-2007.
He married Jennifer Renea Franklin on March 14, 2009 in Marshall, TX. Mr. Green was an operator at Solo Cup Company in Ada. At an early age, Kendrick recognized the need for a Savior and he gave his life to Christ. His first spiritual home was the Red Oak United Methodist Church, later he was a member of Childress Deliverance Temple in Marshall, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Green, of the home; two sons, Karon Ikeem Khemon Green and Kendrick Lynn Green, Jr., both of the home; his parents, Albert and Brenda Green of Marshall, TX; one brother, Devin Gerard Green of Huntsville, TX; one sister, Natasha Nicole Green of Marshall, TX; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert Trent and Lisa Gail Franklin of Ada; Father-in-law, John Walker of Milburn, OK; his God-parents, Nannette Green Davis of Marshall, TX; Billy and Sherri Green of Texarkana, AR; God brothers, Jacob Johnson and JaKim Campbell; sisters-in-law, Misty Franklin, Amy (Mazin) Abujesh and Gail Walker; brother-in-law, Donavon Trent; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Kwame Ferguson, Brandon Eddy, Ronald Walker, Avery Anderson, Cody Walker and Chuck Horton.
