ADA-Graveside services for Keena Lynn Cookson, 49, Ada, formerly of Henryetta are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Savanna Cemetery, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.
Ms. Cookson died Monday, October 11, 2010 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born October 5, 1961 at McAlester, Oklahoma to Franklin Delano and Esther Lynn Cook Koprovic. She graduated from McAlester High School and attended Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee and also East Central University in Ada. Ms. Cookson was a homemaker and a member of Northgate Baptist Church in McAlester.
Survivors include a daughter, Destiny Baker and her husband B. J., Sulphur; a son, Jacob Cookson, Okmulgee; her mother, Lynn Koprovic, Sulphur; a granddaughter, Kamree Baker; one sister, Cheryl Koprovic, Sulphur; a brother, Jamie Koprovic and his wife Laura, McAlester; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her grandmother, Sarah Koprovic; and an aunt, Betty Akins.
