KAY BETTES

STONEWALL-Services for Lavetta Kay Bettes, 57, Stonewall, are 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Criswell Chapel, Preacher Dewayne Standlee officiating. Burial follows at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Bettes died on Friday, September 10, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born April 5, 1953, in Tupelo to Alfred Marion Henderson and Lola Marie Ellis. She attended school at Capitol Hill in Oklahoma City and was a homemaker.

She married Johnny N. Bettes Sr. on March 7, 1975, in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Bettes Sr., of the home; five children, Johnny Bettes Jr. and wife Courtney, Oklahoma City; Wayne Bettes and wife Shelley, Ada; Joseph Bettes and fiancee Kelsey Wharton, Roff; Krystal Jobe, Stonewall; and Steven Anderson, Lawton; brother, Dale Henderson, Stonewall; Father, Alfred Marion Henderson, Ada; mother, Lola Marie Yaryan, Oklahoma City; four sisters, Laquita Simpson, Blanchard; Cassie Standlee, Meeker; Ann Standlee, Midwest City; and Vickie Casey, Oklahoma Citys; sister-in-law, Georgeanna Stapp, Chandler; and five grandchildren, Mikell Bettes, Adalia Bettes, Elissa Bettes, Katie Bettes and Johannah Bettes. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Wayne Yaryan and a son, Richard Stapp Jr.

Bearers are Johnny Bettes Jr., Wayne Bettes, Joseph Bettes, Steven Anderson, Shannon Casey, Mikell Bettes, Jessica Stapp and Tom Hill.
