FRANCIS-Services for Kathryn Anne Chaffin, 61, of Francis are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home
Mrs. Chaffin died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at her home. She was born November 23, 1951 in Oklahoma City to Oscar and Lorraine Moore Shelton.
She married Tommy Chaffin on April 1, 1987 in Ada. She moved to Ada in 1987 from Midwest City. Mrs. Chaffin was previously employed at J.P. Emco as a trimmer. She was a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church where she helped with Sunday school and the Women's Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Chaffin, of the home; her children, James Thompson, Priscilla Scott, Jared Chaffin and Mandy Matzkvech; 10 grandchildren and one expected; her mother and step-father, Lorraine Lear and Charles Lear.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Bearers will be Steve Vandegrift, Cowboy (Calvin) Mackey, David Frederick, Mike Russell, Joe Guzman and Ronnie Guinn. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Smith, Freddy King and Ken Rhoads.
