Karleen West

Services for Karleen West, 85, of Konawa are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Ada, Revs. Dean Stone and Phillip Mullins will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Mrs. West passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at an Ada hospital. She was born April 13, 1935 at Marlow, OK to Robert Earnest and Nola Gertrude Wilcoxen Floyd.

She married Wilbur Vernon West August 17, 1952. He preceded her in death March 6, 2006. Mrs. West was a cafeteria worker and bus driver for the Byng School System until her retirement. She was a longtime member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, daughter: Charessia Scales and husband Jeffrey of Blanchard and their children, Lauren Ashley Scales and Ryan Austin Scales, both of Blanchard; daughter: Rebecca Manuel and husband Kerry of Lone Grove and their children, Joshawa Manuel and wife Kayla, Ardmore and son Kaden of the home; Jason Manuel and wife Amanda of Plano, TX and their children, Zoey, Sidney and Max of the home, and LaCretia Manuel, Ardmore; Son, Darrin "Justin" West and wife Sherri, Konawa and their children, Tyler West, Konawa and Brittany West, Ada, and her daughter Brynlee, Ada; and Nevaeh Hale of Konawa; and a sister, Martha Young and husband Rick, Chickasha; and many nieces and nephews and a host of beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Lewis, Edward, Joe, James and Jack Floyd; and three sisters, Kathleen Williams, Minnie Pearl Mullins and Louise Verner.

Bearers will be Joshawa Manuel, Jason Manuel, Tyler West, Tracy Estep, Tackett, and Tommy Shull.
