KAREN WYATT

UNION VALLEY-Services Karen Jean Hendrex Wyatt, 71, Union Valley, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randall Christy officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wyatt died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at a Dallas, Texas hospital. She was born April 8, 1939, to Samuel Jay and Edna Myers Hendrex at Tulsa. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and from the University of Oklahoma. She was a special education teacher at Tupelo from 1990 until 2004.

She married Bobby Joe Wyatt Jan. 11, 1963, in Norman. He died May 27, 1996, in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include a son, Jay Patrick Wyatt, Stonewall, and his daughters, Jayla Kay and Macee Brooke; a daughter, Deborah Jane Wyatt Hughes, Oklahoma City, and her children, Dylan Cooper and Abagail Jane; a daughter, Melinda Jean Wyatt Gilliam, Coppell, Texas, and her children, Aaron Michael and Natalie Grace; a sister, Marilyn Ann Hendrex Gates, Tulsa; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and one great-grand-nephew.
