JUNE HART
ADA-Services for June Ellen Hart, 82, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser and Richard Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Hart died Monday, September 2, 2013 in Davis, Oklahoma. She was born July 28, 1931 in Little, Oklahoma to Lawrence and Edna Oliver Aylor. She graduated from Prairie Valley High School in Seminole, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Baptist University Business College and East Central University.
She married C. W. "Bill" Hart on September 30, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She and her husband moved to Ada in 1956 from Shawnee. Mrs. Hart was a secretary for Southwestern Bell Telephone, East Central University and Thompson Book Store. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ, was a Past-President of the Ada Council of Garden Clubs, a member of the Ada Artists Association, and Artists of the Arbuckles. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, C. W. "Bill" Hart, of the home; a son, Terry Hart and wife Bethel of Houston, TX; two daughters, Janet Healey and husband Brian of Davis, and JoAnn Mickle and husband Sean of Midwest City; her grandchildren, Easton, Haden and Erin Healey, Kara and Meghan Mickle and Emily Hart; a sister, Ruth Guin of Shawnee; and a brother, John Aylor of Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Doris Elick and Wilma Cox; and a brother, Charles Aylor.
Bearers will be James Byers, Larry Darbison, Vern Morgan, Jerry Miller, Wib Scroggins, and Eugene Cannon. Honorary bearers will be Wayne King, Jim Begin and Bill Barrett.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Haiti Orphan's Home, c/o Southwest Church of Christ, 505 W. 17th, Ada, OK 74820.
