Julie went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23, 2022. She was born August 19, 1977 in Tishomingo, OK, and was raised, primarily, in Ada, OK, by her loving parents, Quanah and Sherry (Frazier) Nail.
Julie, also known affectionately to others as "Jules," "Ju Ju," or "Julio," was a free-spirit and lived life to its fullest. She was quick with a smile and loved to laugh. She was always up for an adventure – whether it be a cross-country road trip or a trip through the drive-through for a Dr. Pepper. Some of her favorite things were drawing and painting, growing plants and flowers, listening to music, driving in the rain, and traveling to the mountains. She loved her family deeply, especially her children, Maylon and Isaiah. She had the kindest heart and was a friend to many. She was always willing to help others – both people and animals. She took in many animals, including a dog named Waffles, and eventually acquired a herd of cats. Her most recent challenge was attempting to tame a feral cat she named, Bamboo Bob.
She grew up in Ada, OK and Ignacio, CO. She was a graduate of Byng High School and attended college at East Central University. She was a long-time member of Ada First Indian Baptist Church.
She was happily married to Brandon Walden. They were married on December 31, 2020.
