JULIA PERRY

TUPELO-Services for Julia Margaret Perry, 88, Tupelo, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Tupelo Church of Christ, Wendell Ingram and Alan Brott will officiate. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, near Clarita.

Mrs. Perry died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at her home. She was born April 7, 1919 at the Wilson Community, near Clarita, Oklahoma to Luther and Stella Wilbanks Rush. She attended Wilson and Clarita schools.

She married James Richard Perry on October 15, 1938 at Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma. He died April 11, 2000. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and a member of the Tupelo Church of Christ.

Survivors include two brothers, L. M. Rush Jr. and wife Myrtie, Clarita, and Edgar Rush and wife Margie, Tupelo; one sister, Velma J. Grigsby, Tishomingo; niece and nephew who lived with Mrs. Perry, Laura Dodson and Lloyd Dodson; a great niece, Jessie Hudson, of the home; other nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Earl Ray and Betty Perry, Lexington.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Lane and Minnie Dodson, and two brothers, Eddie Rush and Vernon Rush.

Bearers will be Bobby Ingram, Johnny Flowers, Dale Marshall, Charles Canida, Bobby Woods, and Larry Westbrook. Honorary bearers will be Herman Bills and Billy Joe Woods.
