JUDY STEVENS
ADA-Services for Judy Kay Stevens, 59, of Ada, are 1 p.m. Monday at First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Ryan Humble will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery at Ardmore.
Ms. Stevens died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at a Shawnee hospital. She was born June 6, 1952, to William Henry and Kanola Geraldine Pittman Johnson at Seminole. Ms. Stevens graduated from Lindsay High School in 1970 and moved to the Ada area in 1975 from Ft. Sill. She graduated from East Central University in 1997 with a Human Resources degree. She was employed with Brockway Glass as a glass tester and was later a self-employed house cleaner.
She and Stephen Geary Stevens were married Nov. 4, 1971.
Survivors include one son, Sean Stevens and wife Sheri, Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Kryssi Grissom and husband Chad, Ada, and Stevi Skender and husband Jimmie, Ada; one brother, Gary Johnson and wife Janie, Enid; six grandsons and two granddaughters, Sarah, Sasha, Spencer and Scott Stevens, Landon, Cameron, Ian Grissom and Rhett Skender.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gerry Johnson; a brother, Guy Johnson; and a sister, Kathryn Johnson.
Bearers are Joseph Moore, Dennis Strange, Joey Johnson, John Linebarger, Scott Grissom and Justin Fowler. Honorary bearers are Jayson Clark, Jeremy Clark, Cory Bullis, Michael Johnson and Richie Stevens
