Services for Judy Kay Jones, 71, of Ada are 1:00 Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, her brother, M. D. Bates will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones died Thursday, April 22, 2021 at a Shawnee hospital.  She was born September 19, 1949 in Durant to Claude and Thelma Russell Bates.

She married Bobby Gene Jones February 23, 1979.  He preceded her in death December 28, 2017.  Mrs. Jones retired from housekeeping at Valley View Hospital and Jan Frances Care Center.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her children, Gaylen Pelts and wife Michell, Kelly Cox and husband Troy, Anthony Pelts and wife Betty and David Jones; three brothers, Red Bates, Massey Bates and Bobby Bates; granddaughters, Miranda Wood, Kara Frazier, Brittany Benson, Montana Madarieta and Ashley Dorsett; grandsons, Garon Nelson, Dakota Pelts, Christopher Estes, Tommy Madarieta, Trenton Pelts,  Steven Pelts, Michael Foran, Matthew Dorsett, Tyler Dorsett, Galvin Cox and Gunner Cox; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Thelma Dorsett; twin sister, Ann Taylor; sister, Gertrude Taylor; brothers, Ronnie Bates, Norie Bates and Elzie Taylor.

Bearers will be, Trenton Pelts, Dakota Pelts, Tommy Madarieta, Garon Nelson, Michael Foran, Christopher Estes.  Honorary bearers will be Matt Dorsett and Tyler Dorsett.
