JUDY ANN COPELAND
ADA-Graveside services for Judy Ann Copeland, 58, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Denison, Texas. Dr. Rusty Fuller will officiate.
Mrs. Copeland died Monday, May 19, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born August 3, 1949 at Denison, Texas to Guy Richard and Joy Laverne Sloan Copeland. She graduated from Denison, Texas high school.
She married David N. Goodpasture. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2006. Mrs. Copeland was the Director of Housing Authority of Platte County, Missouri until her retirement. She moved to Ada in November 2006 from Weston, (Iatan Village), Missouri. Mrs. Copeland was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include four children, Richard Graham Cook and wife Robin, Fortine, Montana, David Wayne Cook, Orlando, Florida, Daniel Shane Cook, Fortine, Montana, and Lisa Dawn Downey, Branson, Missouri; her mother, Joy Harp, Ada; two sisters, Nancy Copeland, Ada, and Freda Low, Ada; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; two nieces, Keri Smart, Ada, and Alyssa Low, Ada; a nephew, Stephen Smart, Howe, Txas; and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, and a nephew, Todd Smart.
