JUANITA RAINS
ADA-Services for Juanita Lucille Rains, 98, of Edmond, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Rollow Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, Rev. David Daniel will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Rains died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Oklahoma City. She was born June 5, 1913 at Wolf City, Texas to Roy and Georgia Farrell Heard. She graduated from East Central State Teacher's College.
She married Raymond Rains on July 13, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Rains was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ada.
Survivors include a sister, Emma Joyce Broadrick, of Ada; a nephew, Heard Broadrick and wife Alice Faye of Edmond; a great niece, Susan Brodersen and husband Mark of Oklahoma City; a great nephew, Weston Broadrick and wife Lara of Phoenix, AZ and great great nieces, Chandler and Gwyneth of Phoenix, AZ.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 566, Ada, OK 74821.
