LORENE FULLER
ADA-Services for Juanita LoRene Fuller, 92, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Rollow Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, Rev. David Daniel will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Fuller died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her home. She was born September 15, 1918 at Abbott, Arkansas to Ralph Moss and Lucille Beasley Fuller. She and her family moved to this area in the late 1930's from Tulsa. She attended grade school in Tulsa and Ada and graduated from Ada High School. She graduated from East Central College with a Bachelor degree in Education in 1941. Ms. Fuller obtained a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1965.
She was employed with the Ada Evening News and later American Airlines in Dallas, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona for several years. She retired from the U. S. E.P.A, Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Laboratory. Ms. Fuller was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Ada.
Survivors include her niece, Deborah Henry, Lake Jackson, TX; two great nieces, Lisa N. Henry, College Station, TX and Jennifer L. Weise Falcone and her husband Charles, Pearland, TX; two great great nephews, Christopher and Caleb Falcone.; and first cousins, Eugenia J. Webb, Rock Ledge, FL, and Janet Diane Henderson and her husband Glen, Millsboro, DE.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Henry and her husband Julian, and a nephew, Dane Henry.
Bearers will be Lowell Leach, Dick Scalf, Bert Bledsoe, Jack Keeley, Fred Pfeffer and Clint Hall.
