Juanell Hamilton
Services for Juanell Hamilton, 98, of Ada, will be Monday, February 17th, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Church of Christ. Bud Ross will be officiating.
Mrs. Hamilton was born on October 13th, 1926, in Ardmore, and passed away on Monday, February 10th, 2025, at a local hospital. Her parents were R. Neal and Mildred Baker Mashore. Juanell grew up in Healdton, where she met B.J. Hamilton. They were married on July 30th, 1949, and soon made their home in Ada.
When their three children were all in school, Juanell went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree in education from East Central University. She was a fabulous homemaker and created a loving home for her family. She also kept the books for the family business, Hamilton Oil and Gas, Inc.
Mrs. Hamilton was an active member of the Central Church of Christ, where she served as a greeter for nearly 40 years. She was a faithful Christian and Bible student, always studying and continuing to grow in her faith.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her son, Kent Hamilton and wife Leslie; daughter Melody Smith; daughter Peggy Hamilton and husband Michael; grandchildren Jason Smith and wife Leah, Jill Davis and husband Kasey, Christopher Hamilton and wife Willow, Lindsay Hamilton and Andrew Hamilton; eight great-grandchildren; her brother Jerry Mashore and wife Reba and her sister Cheryl Guidroz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Hamilton, son-in-law Andrew Smith, brothers Raymond Mashore, Billy Mashore, Don Mashore, Bobby Mashore, Benny Mashore, and sister Joyce Brown.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Jackson Smith, Christopher Hamilton, Andrew Hamilton, Kasey Davis, Logan Davis and Luke Davis.
Mrs. Hamilton will be remembered for her warmth and her generosity, her dedication to her family and the love she shared with everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
