Juana Terneus Escudero, wife of Steve Gregory, passed away the night of Jan 18, 2023 in Miami, Florida. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Juana was born in Quito, Ecuador Nov 30, 1963 to Alberto Terneus and Concepcion Escudero. Juana Loved to tell stories of summers on the farm of her grandparents where she learned to ride her pet llama that would bow down for her to mount when she was 5.

Juana graduated high school in Buenos Aires and college in Quito where she received her bachelors in psychology. She began her masters in Miami and finished her MBA in Indianapolis with a degree in Human Resources while working for Allison Transmissions subsidiary of GM.

Juana rose quickly through the corporate ranks where she excelled through hard work as an upper-level professional in management. She worked for GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceutical while getting her bachelors and finished her career with British Petroleum in Houston. After Her previous husband passed with pancreatic cancer, she moved to Miami to be close to her sister.

Juana was married to Steven Gregory at the family Lake home in Oklahoma in November 22, 2017 officiated by Tom Landrith. Juana and Steve split their time between Miami, Florida and Ada, Oklahoma.

Juana is survived by her husband Steve Gregory, her sister Carmen Terneus of Coconut Grove, Florida, her nephews Mauricio Tormen of Kansas City and Esteban Tormen of Miami, brother Alberto Terneus Escudero, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Juana loved rescuing animals and helping those who were willing to help themselves. She was loved by all who knew her.
