Services for Joyce Evelyn Summers, 82, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Holt will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Summers died Monday, August 30, 2021 at a Seminole Nursing Home.  She was born August 27, 1939 in the Laxton Community near Roff to William J. "Jake" and Minnie Ola Prewitt Brady.

She married Paul Summers May 28, 1955 and he preceded her in death April 26, 2001.  Mrs. Summers was co-owner of Paul's Auto Clinic and later service manager for Service Auto Mall.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Haskins and Brenda Reed, both of Ada; one sister, Mary Ellen Hooser; special friend, Jim Vogt; three grandchildren, Anthony Summers, John Nickerson and Bryan Reed; four great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Josh Savage, Tyler Savage, Kyle Nickerson, Bryan Reed, Frank Jones and John Nickerson.  Honorary bearer will be Dillon Summers.
