Joyce Jackson
Services for Joyce Nelle Jackson, 82, of Ada are 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Ada Baptist Temple, Brother Mickey Hollars will officiate. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Duncan.
Mrs. Jackson passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her home. She was born September 18, 1933 at Chickasha to Jesse LeGrand and Mary Eva Smith Cook. She graduated from Ninnekah High School.
She married William Leroy Jackson June 3, 1950. He preceded her in death July 13, 2015. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Hollars and her husband, Rev. Mickey Hollars of Ada; a son, Jimmy Dale Jackson and his wife Venessa of Havre, MT; six grandchildren, Donna Schepers of the Dominican Republic, William Craig Hollars of North Carolina, Gloria Rachael Ray of Anchorage, AK, Grace Ann Howell of Arkansas, Trent Jackson of Billings, MT and Lindsey Orozco of Montana; and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Christine Hopkins, Ruth Martin and Reba Carletta Cook; and a granddaughter, Morgan Hillary Jackson.
