B. J. KING

ADA-Services for Joyce Ann "B. J." King, 56, Ada, are 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Gary Jamar officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. King died on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at an Ada hospital. She was born June 8, 1954, in Torrance, California, to James A. "Jim" King and Minnie L. Johnson King. She attended Latta schools, and moved back to this area in 1968. She served in the U. S. Army and was a construction worker.

Survivors include a daughter, Billie Johnson, Ada; mother, Minnie King, Ada; grandson, Ethan Johnson, Ada; sister, Stephanie King, Ada; brother, James King, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; uncle, Bobbie Johnson and wife Colleen, Ada; aunt, Betty Alvarado and husband John, Haltom City, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim King; two brothers, Lonnie Johnson and Dennis Johnson; and a niece, Candy Wolfenbarger.

Bearers are Joe Johnson, John Johnson, Jared Johnson, Sonny Wolfenbarger, Mike Ernst and Mark Ernst. Honorary bearers are Robert Alvarado, Richard Johnson, Adam Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Anthony Andrews and Don Heath.
