Services for Joy Lee Green, 88, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. David Gray will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Green died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home.  She was born September 10, 1933 in the Sunshine Community, east of Roff, to John and Mary Higgs Summers.

She married Sidney Green on December 15, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2008.  Mrs. Green retired after being employed as a home health care provider.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Sherrell and Phyllis Green Little; one sister, Edna Swarb and husband Joe; and three grandchildren, Trent Sherrell, Chad Sherrell and Storm Sherrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sidney; and two brothers, Chester Summers and Leroy Summers.

Bearers will be Chad Sherrell, Trent Sherrell, Mike Davis, Chris McClure, Mike Green and Ron Green.
